5th Sunday: January 31, is the Fifth Sunday Fellowship for the former Bartholomew Presbytery. Rose Hill is hosting this event. RheAnn White, a CP Missionary who will soon be going to Japan, will provide our evening message and will tell us about her new mission assignment. A love offering, to help support her ministry, will be received. A fellowship dinner will follow worship.

REVIVAL
Rose Hill CPC and their pastor Rev. Jim Fisk invites the community to revival services led by Rev. Dr. Roy Hall of Scottsboro, Alabama. Services begin Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. and continue each evening at 7:00 P.M. Sunday through Wednesday, September 2. There will be a potluck lunch at noon on Sunday. The series of sermons will focus on the life of King David. Please join us for any or all services.
In addition to the potluck Sunday, the Sunday School Classes will provide meals in the evenings at 5:30 p.m..
Sunday: The Fisks will host the evangelist
Monday: The youth of the church
Tuesday: The Bennie Ingram Class
Wednesday: The Adult I SS Class (Grant's Class)
Labor Day Retreat at Camp Peniel
Denise Adams will direct Labor Day Retreat at Camp Peniel Sept. 4-6. Bro. Jim is the worship leader. Coy Bray will lead music. The Rose Hill Youth will help plan the event.
Janiece, Sharon and Joshua have also signed on as staff.
We would appreciate homemade cookies and cakes so the cooks don't have to make desserts. If you can provide some please let Denise know.

The CP Missions Ministry Team has sent $10,000.00 to Haiti through Church World Services. The funds came from the Loaves and Fishes offering that is received at Thanksgiving. The denomination retains 25% of the offering to use in times of disaster. This is your offering at work in the world. Thanks for your generosity.
The Souper Bowl of Caring. The youth will be collecting donations of non-perishable food and money will be used to help feed the hungry in Drew County. Souper Bowl Sunday is February 7.
